Friday Forum

St Andrew Holborn runs a series of lunchtime lectures on Fridays 1.10-1.35pm. These lectures cover a wide variety of topics of contemporary interest and relevance. The speakers are usually experts in their field. A simple lunch is served before the lecture and there is the opportunity for discussion or a question and answer session after.

Revd Jeremy Chadd

Fr Jeremy Chadd will reflect on gardening and theology to explore how we are called to live as Christians in a world which has lost its place in Eden. Conscious of our origin in Eden and our future in God's city and garden of glory and delight, how might we live faithfully in a world between the two?

Fr Jeremy Chadd is Vicar of St Chad, Sunderland in the Diocese of Durham. His first degree was in botany, and he has had many contacts with the world of horticulture, as well as being a keen gardener and naturalist.
